Joseph Landry, 83, of Foyer St-Thomas, formerly of Pré-d’en-Haut, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2000, at Foyer St-Thomas.

Born in Pré-d'en-Haut, he was the son of the late John Landry and Suzanne LeBlanc. He was a member of the Golden Age Club of Pré-d'en-Haut and a member of the Credit Union of Pré-d'en-Haut.

He is survived by his wife, Lola (Auffrey) Landry of Fredericton; three daughters, Aline (Yvon) Landry of Fredericton, Diane Landry of Pré-d'en-Haut, Anita Landry of Fredericton; four sons, Jean Landry of Edmonton, AB, Norman (Anne-Marie) Landry of Moncton, Francis (Colene) Landry of Ottawa, ON, Paul (Janice) Landry of Victoria, BC; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Edgar.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with the funeral service to be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut, on Thursday, August 10, 2000, at 10.30am, with Father Emery Brien officiating. Interment in the Notre Dame de l'Announciation Cemetery.
